Spanning 31,561 deeded acres, this expansive ranch is a cornerstone of William Smith Properties Inc.’s efforts to preserve Oregon’s natural landscapes while supporting rural economies.
In 2022 the Wildlands Conservancy purchased 30,000 acres for the newly named “Enchanted Rocks Preserve.” The Wildland Conservancy classified the region as a climate preserve because all land-management and financial decisions will be made in favor of creating resilience to the impacts of climate change and maximizing the sequestration of atmospheric carbon.
